Tondgouyan Petchem Co. Devises Major Environmental Plans
TEHRAN (NIPNA) – Tondgouyan Petrochemical Plant has devised master plans to protect the environment in its operations.
Speaking to NIPNA, the company’s CEO, Reza Ghasemi Shahri outlined his company’s plans to preserve the environment in a bid to turn the plant into a green facility in the current Iranian calendar year which began on March 21.
One of the major measures taken by the company is recycling cooking water after rejection in which 350 cubic meters/hour water is recoverable, he said.
Another project, Mr. Shahri added, is fine recovery of powder in the facility which is to be carried out this year.
“Despite the fact that the items recycled in these processes can be used value generation, we have prioritized reduction of environmental pollutants in our projects,” he said.
The official further said by completion of these projects, the facility would no longer be regarded as a pollutant company by 2021.
